The 2015 edition of Water Design, investigates the topic of water starting from 2 different themes.

Projects by Ferruccio Laviani, Piero Lissoni and Patricia Urquiola.

The topic of the installation at Cortile della Rocchetta will be living in relation with water. The aim of the show is to drive people’s consciousness towards the theme of consume of water. It also want to demonstrate that thanks to a new (but not punishing) way of designing, building and therefore living in our houses, it would be possible to dramatically reduce the consume of water.

Ferruccio Laviani, Piero Lissoni, Patricia Urquiola will set up their concepts about contemporary living, having water as the main theme.  The three projects will share a central green court.

In the garden will be installed a regenerating water system (a pond with special water plants) able to purify the water consumed in our daily lives and reduce its waste up to a 70%.

Project by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel.

Corte Ducale will be devoted to the theme of water as a source of pleasure and well being. The unique architecture of the place with the big central pool naturally refers to a state of pleasure of body&mind in contact with water and nature.

Designing places where find and enjoy this kind of pleasure and balance, has been a primary need from the antiquity and it’s nowadays still relevant, due to our stressful and hectic life style.

The installation designed by Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, around the central pool, will be a contemplative set, dedicated to water and well being.
